Three reasons: inclusions (catering/decor/AV bundled or separate), day of the week (Saturday peak is 30–40% more than weekday), and service level (basic coordinator vs dedicated event director).
Tuesday is the cheapest, followed by Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is mid-priced. Saturday is peak. Sunday daytime is undervalued.
Yes — always ask about: corkage, chair cover charge, extra hour rate, service charge, VAT, cleaning fee, late-finish surcharge, AV extras. At LUXE VENUE every line item is in your written contract — no surprises.
25% of the total package on contract signing. This secures your date. 50% is due 3–6 months before, balance 14 days before.
Most that target the Asian community do. The key distinction is HMC (Halal Monitoring Committee) certified vs "Halal label only". HMC certification means independent monthly inspections of the entire supply chain. LUXE VENUE is HMC certified.
Yes at most Asian-focused venues. LUXE VENUE allows external HMC Halal caterers for a £250 kitchen-use fee.

Yes — we frequently host Nikah ceremonies. Bring your own Imam. We provide separate male/female prayer space if required, microphones, and any seating arrangement you need.
Yes — standalone Mehndi from £2,200 or bundled with Walima for £1,400. We handle decor changes between days for multi-day events.
Completely different. Mehndi nights are typically vibrant colours (yellow/green/orange), informal seating, live music, chaat stations. Walima is formal, plated dining, neutral palette, structured speeches. We handle both setups in the same hall.

Yes — we are licensed for civil ceremonies by Birmingham City Council. You'll need to book a registrar from the Register Office separately (£450–£550 fee).

We have a dedicated drop-off zone at the main entrance and a drivers' rest area with refreshments for busy event runs.
Bordesley railway station is a 10-minute walk. Birmingham New Street is 12 minutes by taxi.
Standard access from 10am. Earlier access (8am for elaborate decor) can be arranged for an additional fee. Evening events have access from 4pm.
Standard finish is midnight. Extensions until 1am can be arranged for premium packages.
Full refund 90+ days out, 50% refund 45–90 days, no refund inside 45 days. Dates can sometimes be moved at no charge for medical emergencies (we are reasonable about this).
Highly recommended — covers cancellations, weather, supplier failures. Companies like Weddingplan UK offer £50–£150 policies. Not required by us but smart financial protection.
The contract holder. We charge against a £500 damage deposit which is refunded 7 days after the event if no damages. Standard for the industry.
Yes — always. Our standard contract is 6 pages with no hidden clauses. We send it electronically; you sign via DocuSign. We never pressure you to sign on the day.
Both options available. Standard packages include basic chair covers, table linen, centrepieces and stage backdrop. For custom theming, work with us or bring your own decorator.
Yes — most clients bring their preferred DJ. We provide the sound system and lighting; your DJ uses our equipment or brings their own.
Yes — Qawwali bands, dholis, brass bands, and modern bands are all welcome. We have stage space for up to 8-piece live ensembles.
Of course — wireless microphones, top-table monitor speakers, and projection for video tributes are all included. We can run a rehearsal walk-through 7 days before the event.
