LUXE VENUE's content creator studio sits inside our main building, but operates as a fully independent shooting space. Photographers, videographers, brand teams, content creators, social media agencies and Asian fashion brands rent it by the hour. You can bring your own gear and crew, or rent ours — cameras, lighting, backdrops, plus a 2-person crew if needed.

The studio is built for the realistic mix of content creators actually shoot today: brand stills, look-books, vertical video for TikTok and Reels, long-form YouTube content, podcast video (see podcast page), product photography, and increasingly — Asian fashion shoots, Halal beauty brand content and Muslim influencer collaborations.

Two Booking Modes

📷 Mode 1: Blank-Canvas Studio (BYO Gear) — From £65/hour

You arrive, the room is ready: cleaned, backdrop installed to your choice, lighting on standby. Bring all your own cameras, lenses, modifiers, computers. Most established Birmingham photographers prefer this mode.

Includes: full lighting kit listed above (yours to re-configure), all backdrops, mirrors, makeup station, WiFi, free tea/coffee, parking for 6 vehicles.

🎬 Mode 2: Full Camera + Crew Package — From £225/hour

Everything in Mode 1, plus:

• Camera operator — works with you on framing, focus, movement; brings Sony FX30 or A7S III as agreed
• Director of photography / lighting — sets lighting per brief, manages on-set technical decisions
• Camera package — Sony FX30 + 3 lenses (16-35, 24-70, 70-200), DJI RS3 Pro gimbal, Atomos Ninja V recorder
• Extra lighting — additional 2× Aputure 600D and softboxes if needed
• Live-view monitor on a 27" 4K HDR screen for art-director approval in real time
• Optional makeup artist — bring your own or hire one of our pre-vetted MUAs at £45/hour
• File hand-off on portable SSD at end of shoot

🎥 Mode 3: Specialist Add-Ons

• Drone aerial pickup (outdoor, weather-permitting) — £180 per 30-min flight
• Steadicam operator with full rig — £450/day
• Slider / motorised dolly with operator — £180/half-day
• Teleprompter (iPad-based) with operator — £85/half-day
• Edit suite hire — same-day rough cuts available at £55/hour with editor
• 3D scanning of products / sets — quote on request

We've worked with multiple Birmingham-based and London-based Asian fashion brands shooting Eid collections, bridal lookbooks, ready-to-wear and modest-fashion content. The studio plays well to vibrant fabric colours and detailed embroidery. The makeup station and changing area make a full-day model shoot painless.

Halal Beauty & Modest Cosmetics

Halal-certified makeup brands, modest cosmetics lines and hijabi influencer collaborations are recurring bookings. We provide a clean, alcohol-free, halal-friendly environment that brand teams need for cultural alignment.

Brand Founder Content

Birmingham startup founders use us for "professional founder photo" packs (typical 2-hour shoot, 200 retouched images, £450 + photographer fees). Common for LinkedIn, About pages and PR.

Wedding-Industry Suppliers

Mehndi artists, decor companies, photographers themselves and bridal-wear brands use the studio to shoot promotional content for the Asian wedding industry. The brick wall and gold-themed backdrops are popular.

Content Creators & Influencers

Birmingham TikTok and Instagram creators batch-record 8–12 short videos per session. We have a "creator hour" rate (£65) and offer a free social-share back to our own channels for high-quality content.

Lighting Setup & Approach

The studio is preset with a flexible 3-point lighting system you can re-configure. Most photographers start with our default and adjust:

• Key light — Aputure 600D Pro from camera-front-left, large softbox, daylight 5600K
• Fill light — Aputure 600D Pro from camera-front-right, dimmed 50%, slight warm 4800K
• Hair / rim light — Aputure 300D from camera-rear-left, gridded
• Background light — Aputure MC panels colour-matched to brief

If you prefer flash, we have Profoto B10 Plus available on rental (£25/hour with sync transmitter). Most modern brand work is now continuous LED, so flash demand has dropped.

Block & Day-Rate Discounts

• 4-hour minimum half-day — 10% off
• 8-hour full-day — 15% off + free halal lunch for 4
• Monthly subscription (8 hours per month) — 20% off, priority slots
• Brand annual contract (£3,000+ committed) — bespoke retainer terms

Halal & Cultural Friendly

We're a Halal-positive studio. That means:

• Alcohol-free environment (no client beers on set; no cocktail receptions)
• Sister-only shoot policy on request (no male staff, no male photographers, no male visitors)
• Prayer mat and prayer-space available on every shoot day
• Halal HMC food on tap for crew and talent meal breaks
• Modest-attire dressing area and male-free corridor on request

For brands targeting British Muslim and Asian audiences, this matters more than most studios admit.
