Baby showers in Birmingham now span a beautiful range of traditions — Pakistani Godh Bharai, Indian Seemantham, Muslim Aqiqah, Western baby showers, gender reveals, and modern "sip-and-see" newborn celebrations. Most Birmingham mums-to-be don't realise that hotel function rooms are awkward for baby showers — too sterile, expensive minimum spends, no flexible decor allowances. A dedicated event venue solves all of this. We've hosted 40+ baby showers in the last 12 months alone.

Godh Bharai (literally "filling the lap") is the traditional South Asian baby shower, usually held in the 7th–8th month of pregnancy. Key elements:
We provide the staging, ceremonial props (small puja-style tray, blessing bowls) and brief the kitchen on traditional Godh Bharai sweets (laddoo, barfi, gulab jamun, panjeeri).
Aqiqah is held 7 days after birth (or any time during the first 40 days), to celebrate the newborn and distribute meat to family and the needy. At LUXE VENUE we host Aqiqahs as a daytime family event with:
