Dudley borough — including Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kingswinford, Sedgley and Netherton — has a growing Asian, Muslim and mixed-heritage wedding market. The problem: wedding venue options within Dudley itself are limited. There are a few country-house hotels on the outskirts, a couple of community halls in Dudley town centre, and some newer banqueting suites in Brierley Hill — but very few offer the combination of halal (HMC-certified suppliers) in-house catering, an alcohol-free environment, mandap capability and modern facilities that a 200+ guest Asian wedding actually needs.
LUXE VENUE in Perry Barr (B44 8QH) — 30 minutes via the M5 — is now regularly booked by Dudley families for both single-day walimas and multi-day Pakistani/Bangladeshi weddings. The route is direct: M5 southbound from J2/J3, onto the A38(M) Aston Expressway, then a clear run to Perry Barr. Off-peak journey 25 minutes, Friday rush 35–40 minutes. Compared to the parking cost and central-Birmingham congestion at hotel venues, the drive is genuinely easier.
Most Dudley wedding venues either serve alcohol by default or offer Halal food only as an external caterer bolt-on. Our in-house kitchen operates a halal-only process (meat sourced from HMC-certified suppliers) — every dish, every supplier, no contamination worries. Standard menus include Pakistani karahi, biryani, kebabs, Indian Mughlai, Bangladeshi hilsa and beef bhuna, plus live cooking stations (kebab, chaat, dosa) for £6/head add-ons.
For orthodox Muslim Dudley families — particularly those from Netherton, central Dudley and Brierley Hill — an alcohol-free environment is non-negotiable. We are permanently alcohol-free by licence, not per-event negotiation. Nobody offers wine to your grandmother.
Extended Dudley Pakistani and Bangladeshi weddings often run 200–250+ guests. Our 308m² hall with 4.8m ceilings comfortably seats 250 at round tables (300 standing reception). Many Dudley-borough venues cap comfortably around 150–180 — meaning your guest list gets cut, or elderly relatives sit in a cramped side room.
Mehndi + Walima 2-day bundles from £11,500 (200 guests). Full 3-day weddings (Mehndi + Nikah/Walima + reception) from £18,500. Dudley venues rarely offer this — so a traditional Pakistani wedding ends up split across three different halls with three deposits and three cleanup teams.
Some Dudley halls feel dated — brown 1990s decor, fluorescent strip lighting, tired carpets. Our hall is contemporary: programmable warm LED lighting, clean modern bathrooms, updated kitchen, high ceilings. The wedding photography looks like 2026, not 1996.

LUXE VENUE is not licensed for civil ceremonies — the civil ceremony is booked separately at a Register Office. Your Dudley registrar may travel to us (typical fee £450–£550 paid to Birmingham Council). Alternatively, many Dudley couples do their civil ceremony quietly at Dudley Register Office first, then come to us for Nikah + reception. Both approaches work fine and neither costs more than the other.
